NewsParadise Hill and Unity Nominated for Leadership Awards
Friday, May 11, 2012 - 4:16 PM Paradise Hill and Unity have each been nominated for Saskatchewan Municipal Awards. This is the sixth year for the awards, which recognize the innovation and leadership of local governments in the province. The Town of Unity is nominated in two categories. It is up for the community life enrichment award for the Unity Community Resource Centre and for the environmental stewardship category for its waste water diversion and reuse project. The Village of Paradise Hill and the RM of Frenchman Butte are finalists for the municipal innovation and service excellence award for Paradise Hill Home Care. The awards have six different categories, including economic development leadership, regional leadership and partnerships, community life enrichment and heritage conservation leadership.
