Strategic Planning Sessions held by the Lloydminster Public School Division last weekend are hoped to better student learning, and improve all aspects of the community. Students, staff and residents took part in the annual initiative, brainstorming and sharing their ideas for a better school system. Director of Education Michael Diachuk explains how important getting a wide range of community members including students, staff and the public involved in the process can be. 

Diachuk says those involved pay particularly close attention to what students have to say during the meetings, as they are the ones coming up through the system. Now that all the feedback has been gathered, it will be compiled and brought back to the LPSD board, where they'll figure out how and who would best deal with the issues at hand.
