Collectibles of all kinds will be showcased this weekend at the Stockade Convention Centre, as the Border City Collectors host their 21st Show and Sale.

Everything from sports memorabilia to antiques and toys are expected to be up for grabs at the annual event that doubles as a fundraiser.  Proceeds from this year's exhibition are being donated to the Barr Colony Museum Foundation, as well as other local charities.

Coin collectors should be particularly interested in this year's event.

"We have our usual fella who used to be out of Battleford and he's got a great selection of coins and then there's two or three older fellas that always have a bunch of stuff like that. They usually have the harder to find coins that you usually need to complete a collection," says Brad Bogucky, member of the Border City Collectors.

While there will not be a designated appraiser onsite to set a value to some of the collectibles, according to Bogucky there will be very knowledgeable people in the building to provide a good idea of what some items are worth.

He adds music lovers can expect to see a range of old records and comic book junkies will have no shortage of them to file through as well.

General admission into the Show and Sale is just $5, children 12 and under are free, and the family rate is $15.
