RCMP have confirmed homicide was the cause of death in the case of Bryan Gower. The 35-year-old’s body was found north of Lloydminster Tuesday morning.

The Edmonton Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on the body Thursday. The death is believed to be attributed to the gunshots witnesses reported hearing.

In a statement released Friday afternoon, police also addressed speculation of another victim at the scene.

RCMP say a male, suffering from non-life threatening injuries was found in the area of Gower’s murder. Police have determined this man was not involved in Gower’s death.
