RCMP are turning to the public as they investigate several incidents of vehicle vandalism in the Border City.

Brad Perry's car was one of those vehicles.

Perry explains his car was hit last week - sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning. “The people who I’m staying with came down Friday morning at 6 a.m. and woke me up saying I need to call the RCMP, my car’s been broken into,” he says.

Perry's car was parked on the street, outside his home in a residential area. “I immediately ran outside to see my rear view window smashed and a rock in my car,” he says. “Luckily, nothing was stolen but there was glass all over my car – inside and outside.”

Perry has been living in Lloydminster for about three weeks and this wasn’t the welcome he was hoping for. He filed a report with police that morning but there are no answers yet.

RCMP say several vehicles had their windows broken or were vandalized.

Hoping to catch the person or people responsible for the mischief, police are asking the public to come forward with any information they may have.

Contact the Lloydminster RCMP at 306-825-6350 or 1-800-222-TIPS.
